E-Learning
Won "Best in Show" at the DevLearn 2013 Conference & Expo for the "Human Performance Course". Won internal award for going above and beyond for "Hu
man Performance, Safety Culture and Flood Walkdown Courses". The projects above encode blue, I was responsible for developing a custom reusable player with xml navigation in Flash, streamlined navigation and content. Wrote custom code for communication with LMS (Learning Management System) Created custom JavaScript for retrival of custom data including: Student information, bookmarking, saving current position when exiting course. When student re-starts the course, determine if their status, Incomplete or Complete. Save and retrieve module information ( same as saving levels in a game. Wrote custom code to make it snow on the town either heavy or light depending on user answers. Created custom XML for navigation, data retrival, location, file types, course name, course type: Initial or Requalification.Interactive Development: Wrote custom apps for questions, interactive activities, games. Responsible for testing all aspects of the application including, alpha, beta and regression. Created all media assets, 3D modeling and animation, 2D, Posters for creating interest, comming attractions, QR code on poster that would play comming attraction video to spark intrest on all mobile devices. Recorded all audio narration of 56 people.
Design
Utilizing the Adobe Masterpiece collection I have designed UI for mobile, desktop and web applications. Created E-Books for distribution on mobile devices. Designed logos for company branding on postcards, posters, polo shirts, tee shirts, pens, and coffee mugs. Created advertisment slogans and design for multiple magazines for the hotstamp and custom motorcycle parts industries. Photographed products and for magazine ads, posters and web sites. Recorded video and audio, edited and distributed DVD, CD and VHS for educational, instructional and interactive applications and video. I have also designed packaging for software applications, DVD and CD booklets.
3D Modeling & Animation
Since 1992 I have created 3D animations and still images for web sites, logos, pre-visualization of water treatment plants, city parks, resoration of urban areas, roadways, gas lines, underground telephone lines, water parks, fountains, industrial buildings and houses. I create looping animations to grab peoples interest at trade shows and showcase the companies product or products. Developed 3D prototypes for animation and design of braking systems for warehouse storage, water pumps and valves. Modeled 3D assets for use in E-Learning. These include full towns with stores for gamification, power plants, fire and elements for compositing in video and still images. These models are used to show normal operation of equipment and demonstrate the types of failure that may occur with the equipment.
Flash Programming
With Flash I develop Flash based web based training, e-learning and desktop learning applications using ActionScript 3.0, XML, JavaScript, PHP and HTML for the nuclear industry. With ActionScript I create customizable and reusable objects and components for Quizzes, Interactive learning, games, Multi-Language caption and Multi-Language on-screen display that changes either from user input, region or XML Data. These courses interface with a Learning Management System using SCORM 1.2. The clients these applications were created for are INPO, McKesson, Chic-Fil-A, Yahoo!, Marriott, C & S Wholesale, Coca Cola Hellenic Bottlers and Marshalls / TJ Maxx.
